This 2-storey stone building was the original ‘White Hart Hotel’ (now adjoining it). ‘Freemason’s Hall’ and masonic symbols are above the front door, in front of which is a small garden.
The dining room is on the ground floor and the two lodge rooms are on the first floor up easy stairs on which there is an electric chair lift. There is a wheelchair ramp at the rear doors.
The ‘Henry Mitchell Museum’ inside the front door to the left is well worth a visit.
From the east...
On the A30 road at the roundabout for the Hayle by-pass signposted to Penzance, take the B3301 road into Hayle Town Centre. Continue through the town into Penpol Terrace and, after passing under the Railway Viaduct, turn left beside the Lloyds TSB Bank into Foundry Square. Turn left again into the public car park and the Hall is opposite the entrance.
