He was accompanied by Mrs. Sheila Furr, the wife of one of the Colville Smith members, together with the piper Bill Buchanan. Funds were raised during the evening by Brother John Richardson of St. Gluvias and by Lawrence Bragg of Colville Smith Lodge.

The evening was very enjoyable for all concerned and concluded with the Piper leading everyone in singing “Aud Land Syne” and “Trelawney”
