The Trelawny Light Blue’s (TLB)  secretary Nick Annear delivered eighty eggs to Laura Roberts, a Staff Nurse, and Healthcare Support Worker Laura Edwards on the Polkerris Children’s Ward on Good Friday, as well as giving several large bars of chocolate for the staff to enjoy.

This is the third year that the TLB Freemasons have donated chocolate treats to children that are staying away from home over the Easter with Nick saying:

“Easter is a wonderful time of year for kids, as many of us with children know, so we wanted to give some relief to the children who can not spend Easter at home. As Freemasons we are seen to give tens of thousands of pounds to worthy causes, but the simple gift of a chocolate egg, to a child, will instantly put on smile on their little faces which is priceless.”

Laura Roberts said:

“We are incredibly grateful for the donation of Easter eggs, for the poorly children that are with us for the Easter holidays. It will certainly brighten up their day. Thank you!”
