This 2-storey stone purpose built Hall has prominently displayed masonic symbols on its frontage.

Access

From the road through metal gates up a few steps to the front door. The dining room is on the ground floor, and there is a winding staircase to the lodge room on the first floor.

From the east….

On the A390 from Lostwithiel continue on the Holmbush Road. At the roundabout with Charlestown Road, take the third exit into Mount Charles Road; continue straight, through traffic lights and a mini-roundabout into East Hill. Continue past the pedestrian traffic lights with a public car park on the left into South Street and the Hall is on the left just before the next pedestrian traffic lights, opposite Duke Street on the right.

From the west….

On the A39 and A390 from Truro at the roundabout (with the B3273 to Mevagissey on the right) turn left into South Street, continue past the mini-roundabout and the Hall is on the right just past the pedestrian traffic lights, opposite Duke Street on the left.

From Bodmin…

Come on the B3374 or A391 into East Hill as above.

Parking

Three car parks close to the St Austell Masonic Hall:
  • White River Car Park, Trinity Street. (£1.00 after 4.00pm).  Turn into Trinity street from mini roundabout on South Street below the Masonic Hall.  Car park entrance on immediate right.  Take lift from any floor to floor S1.  Leave building through door on left.  Turn left and the Masonic Hall can be seen across the road.  For those with mobility issue’s this is the recommended car park as it offers a reasonably level walk and is very close to the Masonic Hall.
  • Priory Car Park  (£1.00 after 4.00pm) From mini roundabout on South Street turn onto Trinity Street.  At the T-junction at top of hill turn right, follow left hand hairpin and turn right into Priory Car Park.  Short walk through town to the temple.
  • East Hill Car Park (up to £3.00 for an evening stay).  Just above Masonic Hall.  Relatively steep hill but closest.
