A very enjoyable day was had by all at the annual CPSS Fun Shoot, with 22 shooters taking part. This year it was held at Moorlands Shooting ground near Congdon’s Shop, it consisted of two competitions one bale shoot and one sporting, both of which attracted several re entries.
Both competitions were out of 10 targets, we had several 8 out of 10’s with only one 9 out of 10, competition and banter was rife, Martin Peake took top gun for both competitions, well shot Martin.
A huge Pasty and some Saffron cake kept us going at lunch time with a generous raffle concluding the day, £ 402.00 was raised and this will go towards the 2024 Festival.
A huge thank you to all for taking part and for Moorlands in hosting us. This was the first time we’ve held the fun shoot at Moorlands and we look forward to returning next year.
